Tweed Weddings is based in Port Richmond, Philadelphia PA, but we film weddings across the states (and in other countries as well)! Kori and Vanessa’s wedding was only slightly outside of our home base. It took place in New York City, at the beautiful 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.
Their outdoor ceremony took place on a sunny August day and incorporated both Jewish and Christian faiths, which was the perfect blend of the two of them. Under a rustic chuppah that was topped with sheer fabric, the two exchanged their vows.
Tweed Weddings was so excited to be part of this wedding in particular because just a few years ago, we filmed the grooms brother’s bar mitzvah in New York. It is so exciting being part of so many special moments for their family.
The best man’s speech was sentimental and did not leave a dry eye in the house. Especially when he said, “may you be best friends, better together than either of you are apart.” By the looks that the couple were giving each other throughout the video, you can tell they truly are the best of friends.
One of the most important things for Kori and Vanessa to have included in their wedding video was the Lion Dancers that came out during their first dance. The dancers enveloped them in a hoop and delighted their guests. It was a unique and such an exciting touch!
