What happens when you combine a love of dogs, a stunning Doylestown venue, and a fairytale ceremony location? You get Max and Rachel’s wedding! This sweet couple got married on June 9th, 2018 and Tweed Weddings was there to film it every step of the way!
Based on our signature “Tweed Sheet,” which we have couples fill out prior to the big day, our team knew exactly what was important to Rachel and Max. One of which was highlighting their dog, Murphy. This big, sweet pup has a special place in their hearts and in a special role in their ceremony. Can we all just agree that he looked too cute in his suit? Plus, he was a really good boy when it came to taking pictures and filming!
Besides highlighting their furry friend, the couple also told us it was important to highlight the bride’s grandmother, Gigi. You can spot her during the music video at 1:43. Did you peep her dancing at 5:37? She’s a fun grandma and you can see why she’s so special to the couple.
Other items we knew the bride and groom wanted highlighted in their wedding video were the speeches by the best men, maids of honor, and father of the bride. Which is why, you can hear clips of all these speeches in their music video (link). Since the couple went with the “elite” package, they have access to the full speeches, as well as the full ceremony and another longer parts of their big day.
One of our favorite snippets of the speeches was when the father of the bride said with a slight quiver in his voice “Max, by my estimation, today you are one of the most fortunate men in the world.” I mean, how can you hear that without going “aww!”
The maids of honor nailed their speeches as well, and you can bet the bride and groom were glad to have it all on film! When her sister mentioned how she is the person she is today because of the bride and she now has another amazing big sibling (the groom), we know we weren’t the only ones tearing up.
When the best men perfectly landed their jokes but ended on a sweet note, we couldn’t help but smile. When one said “there will never be another time where this entire group of people is here to celebrate you and your love.” They were right. Tweed Weddings was incredibly honored to be the ones capturing this special day!
There were so many pieces of Rachel and Max throughout the wedding. We loved the Marvel socks and cufflinks worn by the groom, that Murphy attended cocktail hour, and the first dance. Did you catch all their cute and interesting moves? It was certainly a fun wedding.
